Summer is moving quickly at The Preserve, and the community’s outdoor amenities are beginning to take shape.
Our private trail system has been mowed and opened up, making it easier to see how naturally the trails wind through the woods and connect the community. These routes will eventually give residents approximately 10 kilometers of trails for walking, biking, skiing and exploring—right outside their doors.
Work is also continuing on The Preserve connector, which brings an old logging road and classic two-track back to life. The route creates a great gravel-bike connection to Phipps Road and provides another way for residents to ride from home instead of loading up and driving to a trailhead.
That direct access is what makes The Preserve special. Whether it’s a morning walk, an afternoon ride or a winter ski, the goal is to make outdoor recreation part of everyday life—not something that requires a lot of planning.
Beyond the trails, progress continues throughout the development as new homesites and custom-home opportunities take shape. The Preserve offers wooded five-acre homesites, access to the Sawyer County Forest and proximity to the Birkie and CAMBA trail systems—all just minutes from Hayward.
There is still plenty ahead, but each newly cleared section of trail makes it easier to picture what life here will be like.
The Preserve is a community built for adventure—and this summer, that vision is becoming more visible every day.
